Improvised short story - Anthro Whisper and family

"OUCH!!! Careful, man!"
"I'm sorry, but no matter how often you say this, I wont become a >man<."
"Well, then careful, WOMAN! Geez, don't you think you're out of the age of teasing?"
Whisper smiled at the silver arctic fox in front of her, "You're my little brother. I'll never be out of age to treat you."
"Treat? That's not treating, that's almost abusing!" Spat her brother Daimon, holding still while she treated a wound on his hand, cleaning it up to get bandages.
Whisper sighed, "You know? You could simply visit Nina and let her heal you, instead of letting me >abusing< you. I don't know why you are so scared of her."
"Scared? I'm not scared of anything! I'm Daimon! I made the whole world crouch in front of me once, remember? I even killed our parents! I was proud of it! And you tell me I'd be afraid of Nina? Why should I?"
"She did beat you...", The vixen responded, dry, "She almost killed you, to be exactly, and since you are as easy to make cry as a puppy." 
Daimon grumbled grumpy before yelping shortly as Whisper pulled out a big splinter of his wound, "Ah, there it is. Now I can tie you up."
"That... did... hurt."
"You'll survive. You almost never flinched when weapons were rammed into your body, no matter which size, but a simple splinter... My, my. What am I supposed to do you with you?"
"Love me, like a mommy, and fill my hungry tummy", Daimon snorted.
"I'll keep that in mind", Whisper giggled, "You're ready to be set free again, and please, try not to kill that poor plank for hurting you."
"Very funny", he grunted and stood up, "I'll leave now. Galassia is waiting for me, and you know how.... harsh she can get when I'm late... what I already am, DAMMIT!" 
With those words he jumped out of the window, rushing away over the car filled streets. Whisper gazed after him, sighing, "One day, he'll get killed like that."

After cleaning up her guest room, where she had treaded Daimon, she walked into the living room, looking at the clock on the wall, "Corrobis is late. It's not like him to be late at all."
"I'm sure he'll come soon", Nina's sudden voice made Whisper jump and spin around toward the couch. There the white she wolf was sitting, relaxed, her new born son in her arms, "My, Nina. Do you have to scare me like that?" I almost had a heart attack."
"Aww, don't worry. I could have revived you", Nina grinned, "You just asked me if I'd come over the next days to show you my treasure."
"Oh, right. Didn't expect you today, though", Whisper admitted and walked over to her to take a look at Nina's little bundle, "Oh, he's precious. You and Curtis must be so proud."
"Oh yes, we are", the she wolf smiled warm, "I have the cutest little baby on the world... I know, every other mother says that, too... But every other mother is wrong~"
Whisper giggled, remembering her pride and joy as she saw her twins the first time in her arms, sleeping after their first meal of milk from their mother. How much she wished to cuddle them now, but she had to wait until Corrobis would return with them from Kindergarten. 
Just at this moment the door opened and the black winged jackal walked in, one child on each hand, "We're home."
Whisper heard the small stepping sounds, growing rapidly louder as Leonita and Malik ran into the living room toward her, laughing and with spread arms. 
Whisper kneeled down and took both of them into her arms, holding them tight to her, whispering loving words. 
Corrobis followed more slowly and froze in the doorframe as he spotted Nina, "You here?"
"Why not? Whisper asked me to come", responded the wolf, shrugging", You're a good father as it seems. At least now, I mean."
"No salt in old wounds, okay?" growled the jackal silently, "I try my best now. Past is past, now is now."
Nina nodded, "Well said."
"What's that in your arms?"
"A baby?"
"Whose?"
"Mine, you dummy", laughed Nina, lifting the little guy a bit, so Corrobis could take a closer look, "May I introduce you to Thomas?"
"He looks a lot like his father", commented Corrobis, not too sure what to think of the situation.
Nina smiled, "Just like Leonita, Corro and you."
"True", Corrobis walked to his mate's side, sitting next to her on the floor, kissing her on the cheek.
Returning the gesture, Whisper leaned against him, enjoying the feeling of his warm arms around her, protective and strong. 
Nina gazed at the family for a while before speaking, "Don't want to interrupt, but when do you plan to return to your other realm?"
"We'll be here for two or three more days", Whisper explained, "My kids shall know both worlds good enough, feeling at home in both. So we'll switch around living there and here always for some time, and when they are older they will learn to travel forth and back on their own, so they can visit their friends, whenever they want to."
"Sounds like a plan", Nina smirked, "And so our Destroyer can learn in peace how to behave here correctly, hehe."
"Watch it, wolf!" Warned the jackal, not without a hint of amusement for her bold words.
Whisper smiled happily, "I'll make sure that he knows his place in this world as good as in his own."
"Who could that better than you, Whisper?" Nina asked with a smile and closed her eyes, cuddling with Thomas while listening to Malik's and Leonita's game.
